About Digital Captive

This website was created as a resource for past, present, and future students, as well as a resource for myself, to be used as a means to stay connected to the numerous web resources that are related to the areas of interest to myself and my students. What makes this site different from some is that the resources linked here are reviewed carefully for their content, user friendliness, and their overall usefullness. I've found many repetetive websites when searching the web for certain topics that are basically just warehouses of links, and I would rather find the websites that have the actual content on them. This is one of the things I've tried to do here. I also stumble upon gems, or students share gems they find with me, and I include those in this site as resources. I hope that anyone visiting this site will find it useful and will contribute a link if they you have a good resource to share.
